DMJ2 promotes education through athletics and mentoring. Our organization was started after the tragic loss of our only son, Desmond Myles Jenkins, at the young age of 18 due to gun violence.
Desmond always lived his life to the fullest and encouraged others to excel through athletics, competitiveness and his love for sports. To continue Desmond’s love for sports and helping others; we created DMJ 2, Making Hopes & Dreams Reality to give High School students the resources and support needed to further their education and athletic endeavors.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to select Sanderson High School students who are accepted into College and participating in College level sports with a household annual income of $55K or less.
If you meet the criteria and need financial assistance to further your education please apply now.
